October Under the Stars
Oct 3, 2026 8:30 PM Fredericksburg, TX
The stars are aligning, literally. A new moon Saturday this October means full dark by 8:30 PM and the Milky Way in all its glory, and it won't happen like this again until 2030.
Mark your calendar, stargazers: a new moon falls on a Saturday night this October, and this kind of Saturday won't happen again until 2030. That means no moonlight and full dark by 8:30 PM, giving you the Hill Country sky at its most dazzling.
Pull up a chair, dim the porch lights, and let the Milky Way put on a show right from your site.
Your front-row seat to the universe is waiting.
